Francis Ngannou says he and Tyson Fury will “run it back” should he defeat the heavyweight league boxing champion in their crossover clash this weekend, and revealed he would then want to take on Fury’s British rival Anthony Joshua league
Fury and Ngannou will go head to head in the league boxing ring this weekend, in a unique heavyweight clash league
Fury reigns as WBC heavyweight champion, while Ngannou will be making his league boxing debut and fighting for the first time since leaving the UFC league
The Cameroonian retained the UFC heavyweight title last year before ultimately giving up the gold in January and joining the Professional Fighters League this spring league
Ngannou, 37, will make his promotional debut with the MMA company in 2024, but first, he crosses into league boxing to face Fury league
The Briton, 35, is unbeaten and on course for an undisputed-title fight with Oleksandr Usyk in Saudi Arabia, if he can avoid a shock defeat by the heavy-handed Ngannou league
But if Ngannou, who is said to have the biggest punch in the world, is able to stun the ‘Gypsy King’ then plans for an undisputed-title fight league between Fury and Usyk may be delayed league
“I think if I am victorious we are going to run it back, for sure,” Ngannou told Sky league Sports league
“Then maybe see Anthony Joshua for after,” he added league
Meanwhile, Usyk, 36, revealed that he will be ringside for Fury’s league boxing match with ex-UFC champion Ngannou this Saturday night league
The crossover contest is set to take place in Riyadh, where Usyk is contracted to box Fury sometime before the end of March league
“The promotion is impressive,” Usyk said of the build to Fury vs Ngannou league
“And understandably, because this is a show that people are waiting for league
“This bout is bread and butter for Tyson Fury league
When someone’s saying that Ngannou can drop him, I would probably agree, but I’m really not certain league

New Zealand head coach Ian Foster says he’ll watch the second semi-final at the Rugby World Cup with popcorn in hand as he waits to find out who they will face in next Saturday’s final league
The All Blacks thumped Argentina 44-6 at the Stade de France in the first semi-final on Friday evening as the best quarter-final weekend in the tournament’s history was followed by a damp squib to open up the last four league
The second semi-final in Paris on Saturday evening should be a closer affair as England face South Africa, although the Springboks are heavy favourites to repeat their victory from the 2019 World Cup final league
The winners will take on New Zealand in the showpiece next weekend and Foster is adamant he has no preference as to who his side face, although he is looking forward to watching the clash and is also eager to use the additional day’s rest the All Blacks will have ahead of that encounter to his advantage league
“I’ll be watching it [England vs South Africa], probably have some popcorn,” said Foster in his post-match press conference league
“I don’t care who wins league
We’re very much in a focus on ourselves stage league
“What the extra day [of preparation] does give us is a chance to have a break mentally and not spend too much juice worrying about who it is that we’ll play next week league
“They’re both good teams league
South Africa are playing some brilliant rugby but we’ve also seen the English team build away quietly league
They’re starting to get really good at how they want to play league
It should be an interesting contrast of styles league
”Foster has endured some tough times during this World Cup cycle with the normally dominant All Blacks struggling at times and his job security being called into question league

Right now we’re making a lot of those decisions together as a group and it is working well league

It’s not like it’s a focus for us to go out there and have fun, but to make sure we execute our game to the level we need to league
The team takes a lot of pride when they do that league
“The work the players and leaders are doing is a real credit to them league
As you go through tournaments, you have to enjoy it league
There is a lot of pressure, so if you don’t celebrate moments, it is a long old time league
